Ken Maumalo

Think Maumalo is being a tad overrated on here. 250k is a good price for him but he really isn’t that good.
 
I reckon we should try to get matt timoko and/or harley Smith-shields up here. Braiden burns?

I think we are going to be paying overs for an injury prone best.
 
Game is based around stats too much.

He can’t tackle/read the attack and is good for a error. If he is your starting winger then your outside backs are looking average.

Warriors wingers/centres are lacking in quality outside of Fusitua.

Why would you assume Warriors will be paying $800K? There is no way NZ will be paying anywhere near that amount. DWZ could be a great pickup for them at cut price. Browny's not much of a coach, but he certainly can recruit. I'm sure there is some reason behind it.

What if the Dogs are paying 600K because they’re desperate to generate even a small amount of additional cap space following a string of bad deals such as with DWZ? What if Maumalo sought a release because he fell out with Browny, and the Warriors knew they’d be paying decent money for someone not fully committed if he stayed? What if Maumalo’s agent is Isaac Moses-like and the Warriors felt it best to move on as many of that agent’s clients as possible? There are a bunch of possible reasons which may not be public, but if any of those are accurate then it sounds like it could be a sensible move for the Warriors.
