Jersey Flegg 2025

Love hearing that Williams is going good, we desperately need a game managing halfback, where would you rank him amongst our half options across NRL, NSW cup and Flegg?
I don't know how to rate him.
He's a bit Brock Lamb like, in that he doesn't seem to do a lot, but when he does something, it's pretty much the right thing we need him to do.

Early signs on D'Acre are good. Stands out as an athlete, looks strong and willing with yardage runs, great finish on his first try today and 2 very impressive try assists as an aerial target so far.
I want to see him a few more times before I decide what I think of him, but his second game was better than his first, so maybe he is a quick learner and will progress through the grades pretty fast, fingers crossed.

This has to be where our hope comes from, some these young guys Billy has mentioned.
Give them a run on the bench and a taste of where they need to be.
This will give them motivation to strive to get better and come through the ranks to first grade if they are good enough and put the work in to be a good NRL player.

Knights 6 - 18 Manly at halftime

Dacre scored our try.

All the tries have been pretty soft.

12 - 18 with about 20 to go
try to Cullen Gray - pretty much waltzed through the forwards to score near the posts

12 - 24
Manly scored against the run of play
Knights spent 15 minutes on Manly's line without scoring and then Manly got the ball and scored a long range try.

Gray set up both of D’Acre’s tries with nice passes that put him over untouched, scored his own with a good line run through the middle and generally looked dangerous when he took the line on. Thought it was his best game that I’ve seen so far.

D’Acre almost stepped through a few defenders for another try but dropped it close to the line, and had a couple of other errors too. Also had another athletic intercept where leapt up and caught it and then ran 60m before being brought down.

Gray impressed for the first time really.
He pretty much looked like Loza on a good day.
Dacre will need to bulk up a lot.
It's a shame no one was giving the ball to Gow. That was the first game he hasn't scored a try, but he hardly touched the ball - even when it went that side, Walker ran and didn't look to pass.

First time I've seen Gow live. He is quite robust for a speedster. Also the first time I've seen a try scored from a kick hitting the underside of the crossbar and stopping in the field of play. Unfortunately it was for Manly.

Gow has the potential to be a Bradman Best, only faster and even more solid if he builds up.

Knights 4 - 0 Roosters after 30
Try to Aiden Gow - just spread the ball to the wing and Gow only had to fall over the line
