Jersey Flegg 2025

I'm hoping Fletcher Hunt is training with Flegg.
There were reports he was free to leave after last year, but he hasn't showed up anywhere else and had a 3 year deal here.
I don't know why he wasn't training with firstgrade, other than we had a million 5/8s already.

Trial on Bar TV now

1 is Harley Walker
3 is Jarome Falemoe
7 is Taj Blackman I believe
10 is Bailey Carmichael

Brilliant offload from the #8 and equally brilliant footwork from Harley Walker to beat the fullback and score his second.

They are looking good, but far from a full squad.

I thought it was Smith at 9, but not sure now.

Walker scoops up a very generous knocked back call from the ref and runs 80m untouched to score his 3rd of the first half

Cullen Gray is the most interesting new name. Signed from the Brumbies and played fly-half for the junior Wallabies last year. O’Sullivan loves his rugby prospects. Ayden & Sully Hoad (presumably brothers) have followed him down from the Dolphins too.

Jacob Taulani signed from the Sharks and Blake Forder from the Bulldogs.

Glad Jayden Harris is still around too.

A lot of new names there.
I suppose we were always going to get a lot of "project players" from O'Sullivan this year.
It does seem we have way too many though - 22 names there and I suspect a heap more in NSW Cup and we have a few in Ball.
If we find a few firstgraders it will be worth O'Sullivan's paycheck right there.

The Hoad's are twins. One plays in the halves the other hooker. They're pretty big for their positions though.

Bunnies were chasing them as well.

A heap of this side are players recruited by O'Sullivan.
We have 7 guys of Flegg age in reserve grade including Votano, Hopwood, McEwen, Hunt, Malachi Smith, ESL, McCarthy - and there are several guys in Ball who will end up in Flegg in a month or so, so these guys will have to make a name for themselves pretty quick.

Cullen grey of two last names fame

I used chromecast with it a few weeks ago and it was a bit buggy. Otherwise I just watch on my laptop and the only issue I've had is when they don't get the stream going on time, so not really a glitch problem.

Bailey Carmichael scores to put the Knights in front and then goes over again a couple of minutes later. Knights up 34-22 now.

Sully scored a double, played a bit of half and hooker. Ayden got called up onto the bench for NSW Cup so hasn't played yet.

Knights win 34-26.
