We have 2 spots to fill and a bit of cash to spend. So may be a last minute bid to try and get him before souths?
 
He'd be a good pick up but we've got plenty of backrowers at the moment. I'd like to see us go for a 5/8th and centre, which seem to be our worst areas of depth currently.
 
Interesting that we have named a winger on the bench in reserve grade.
I suspect we are expecting a forward to sign by the weekend and have just named Mitch Andrews on the bench to fill out the team list.

At least 3 of the firsts 21 will go back to cup.
 
Wrote this during the time of Ponga deciding where to go and I said if he was to leave the Cowboys that the Broncos would be the best chance to sign him mainly due to Su’A being his best mate from their time playing rugby together.

He is already better then 5 of those guys and likely to end up better then the other 2 within the next 2 years if he gets consistent game time.

Why hasn't he had consistent game time?

I'm happy to sign him if it keeps Ponga happy. Watson might get a little jealous lol.

Because up until this season he has been in a better team then the Knights with origin and international forwards in his position and the broncos have also got a tonne of forwards with great promise coming through and he is one of them.

If he was at the Knights 3 years ago he would have 60+ games in the NRL injuries permitting.

Maybe Green should sign him, its only a matter of time before Cooper gets pushed out.
But i agree with you, the kids got a lot of skill and loves to play hard. Needs a good 18 months to show his worth to the market.

Morgs needs another genuine target on a edge and Su'a could be that guy.
 
Most have probably seen it already, but Su'a has signed with the Bunnies. I know there's normally a bit of movement before June 30 each year, but this year there seems to be a lot already.
 
Didn’t Sua almost sign with the Bunnies last year but it fell through or am I thinking of someone else??
 
So for next week we will have 8 more players available for firstgrade.

Beau Fermor - I think he could step up for a game or two, but probably needs another off season before he is ready for regular firstgrade.
Pheonix Crossland - better player than Lino in attack, but we'd have to find somewhere for him to hide in defence as a skinny 18/19 year old. Next year.
Braydon Musgrove - big enough centre or winger - Cory Denniss clone.
Starford Toa - only had 3 games all season due to a hand injury, but by all reports he trains the house down. A Cooper Vuna type winger with a combination of power, step and pace, but all the subtlety of a charging rhino.

2 more development players that should come from a shortlist of Tex Hoy, Chris Randall, Jirah Momoisea, Kiah Cooper or Bradman Best.

2 more top 30 players who could either be guys promoted from the above list, or anyone from anywhere.

We should know the full list within the next 3 or 4 days.
