I think it’s important people don’t get too excited for his first games back. There will be some apprehension, the speed of the game and match fitness to overcome I’m sure but I’m as excited as anyone and wish him all the best in picking it up as quick as he can.

Will have to wait and see. The club has stood by him, where others may not have. He's signed till the end of 25, so if he stays on the park and performs then hopefully he and the club can extend his contract.

Article in the Herald a few days ago said Crossland has done the second most tackles in the NRL across the first 2 rounds with 92 but also has a team high 14 missed tackles.
He hasn't got the match fitness he had towards the end of last season.
Their conclusion is that we desperately need Brailey to give Crossland a break at least- even if it's just 20 or 30 minutes at first.

I thought Crossland had some surgeries during the off season, so maybe doesn’t have the miles in his legs to start the season.
He doesn’t go from being a world beater during the 10 straight wins last year( when there was talk on this forum about letting Bailey go!) to a bad player this year without a reason.
The Knights issues at the moment are the weight of huge expectations from everyone, lower quality outside backs, and the pressure of bringing a “grand final winner” into a side with all the talk of who he would replace, causing some players and at times the whole team to look and play very ordinary football.

I just hope Brailey can have some luck for once and stay on the paddock. Very consistent and reliable player when he's actually playing.

Gives good service from dummy half, fit and very solid on defence. Still recall him chasing down Reece Walsh a few years back against the Warriors saving a try.

Dom and Greg not playing doesn’t explain all of it. There’d be very little lead up work for Dom to actually capitalise on even if he was playing. Just haven’t gotten anything going at all.
