i read this if it helps:
Newcastle coach Michael Hagan is confident that Blues captain Danny Buderus, who played against Queensland under the cloud of a back injury, will back up for the Knights.
"He's not too bad, but he just wants to see how he feels later on today or tomorrow before he decides whether he plays or not," Hagan said.
"If he's happy enough to play and he's OK, we'll have him.
"It's an important game so we'd like him to play if he can."
The Knights will also give Origin second rower Steve Simpson and NSW under-19 five-eighth Jarrod Mullen, who had scans today on a hand injury, until tomorrow to prove their fitness.
Hagan said he, too, hadn't mentioned the battering his side handed out in Wollongong.
"It's a bit like Canberra (who the Knights beat 70-32 in round two) last week," he said.
"It didn't really get a mention at any stage.
"The (Dragons) team with Bailey and Timmins in it takes on a different look to the one we play in Wollongong."
