Happy for the Club to play the patient game. I'd love to see Hunt be re-signed, but he has already expressed the fact that he wants to stay, so the club may as well wait and see what happens with potential other player movements (Curtis Scott, Dylan Walker, etc). On the side, I wouldn't mind seeing what Hunt offers in the back row if we ultimately upgrade the centre position but can't find a decent backrower to join us, such as Capewell. Hunt's a big unit. Pretty sure he played back row a bit at Souths.

I think signing him to show the club values and rewards effort is just as big a statement as telling Ramien he is no longer required at training after below par efforts. I'd hate to think they are holding out for someone "better credentialed" when this guy has been having a real dig all year.

It’s not like we have an abundance of centres so signing him seems a no brainer for what he cost and even if we signed a top notch centre I would play Hunt before Moga

Did they? He was after a 40k upgrade. Chump change. After eddy Lee injury we've had nobody ready for the challenge. Hunt deserves one though.
