Gidley out of the halves?

I don't see why it's so hard, Soward & Mullen are the in-form halves, pick them. Gidley should not be fullback as we have the likes of Dugan, Hayne & Gordon all very good players that should be in contention for fullback. Gidley is awesome at fullback, plays well at centre, can playmake in the halves (although should not be picked in the halves due to his crabbing & average kicking game), can do a bit of dummy-half work & can even lift his workrate to play a bit of backrow, therefore he should either be starting hooker or an impact bench player. The hooking role might just be his, Farah has been average, Ennis has been good but has letdown NSW last year & Young hasn't been in much form himself either. Personally i'd probably start with Gids at hooker & have an impact player off the bench that can play halves, hooker etc. I would've started with Farah but he has let me down so far this season.

As much as I like Soward and dislike Pearce, Pearce and Mullen should be the halves. Soward is a massive liability in defence and to be completely honest, what does he offer apart from a long kicking game?

Pierce has been fairly average this year, he has a good all-round game which might work in his favour but i'd prefer Soward at this point. He's a tough little bugger with a good all-round kicking game & a good running game (when he chooses to use it!), not too mention he's full of confidence right now. Mullen can handle all the passing & they can share kicking duties. If Carney was gonna play, then Pierce would have a case for me as they have that club combination.
