Mate, Warriors were always favourites. You "told" us what was already being reported.

Yep on the 3rd and 4th of last month i said his not coming.... here we are a month later still discussing him in our line ups  why? If reported he wasnt coming? Heck he came to newcastle after those posts even.

So what is happening with those non mentioned players, Elliott, Starling J, Pauli, Stockwell, Pearsall, Gagan, Cronan, Pete etc are they on the back burner waiting to see who we will get and maybe signed if no one else is, or are they destined for the scrap heap.

BEALE’S NRL SUITORS

Cronulla back Gerard Beale isn’t short of options.

The 27-year-old has attracted interest from the Knights and Warriors, while the Sharks are also hopeful of holding onto him for next season.

A Kiwi international, Beale can cover centre, wing and fullback which makes him an attractive proposition for any club.

The Knights are in need of another back with experience, while the Warriors are seeking a backline utility to join their roster.

“There’s definitely a few things on the go,” Beale told Market Watch of his future.

“I have a young family now so I’m taking my time with it. I don’t want to rush into anything. I’m really making sure it’s right before I decide on something, whether it’s here or somewhere else.”

Beale played off the bench in the Sharks’ 2016 premiership win.

Having spent time at the Dragons before joining the Sharks, Beale said “there’s no rush” on making call but said the deciding factor will come down to security.

“The length and money comes into factor with a family,” he said.

“All I can control is playing footy.

“I’ve put my focus on playing well. I’m not worried at all. I’m focused on is trying to win.”

SHARKS LOSE PREMIERSHIP WINNER GERARD BEALE TO NRL RIVAL WARRIORS NEXT SEASON

AAP, AAP
September 8, 2017 11:06am

CRONULLA winger Gerard Beale will head to the Warriors on a three-year NRL deal from next season.

Sharks coach Shane Flanagan confirmed the 10-time Kiwi international told teammates at training this week he would be leaving at season’s end.

The news comes just two days before the Sharks’ elimination final with North Queensland at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

“Gerard Beale spoke to the group this week, he’s moving on to the Warriors for three years,” Flanagan said.

“He said it’s not our last game this weekend, we’re not approaching it as that.”

Beale, 27, was born in Queensland but is of New Zealand heritage.

The former Brisbane and St George Illawarra outside back has scored 15 tries in 69 games for Cronulla, and won a title with the club off the bench last year.

He will likely be at least one of two Kiwi representatives to join the Warriors next year, with Brisbane forward Adam Blair also expected to sign with the club.

Contracted until the end of the 2018 season, Blair was last month given permission by Brisbane to negotiate with rival clubs.

Having attracted interest from Newcastle, St George Illawarra and the Warriors, it’s understood the prop will accept the deal from the Warriors.

SHHHHHH I

The Warriors signed Gerard Beale last week but how much was the deal worth?

We’ve been told the centre will be paid around $380,000 next season.

LOL.
