Ah well, you win some you lose some haha. At least you learnt about Beau Scott out of all of this :)

I just read on Phil Rothfield's blog his mail is that Gidley will be halfback with Barrett at 5/8. With Ennis at hooker we will have a hopeless kicking game compared to Lockyer, Thurston and Smith :fist: :brickwall: Personally I like the idea of Gidley as a running 5/8 with an experienced halfback

PS. I'll be the first to admit that I hate the idea of Gidley in the halves, but he is beginning to improve a bit in recent weeks (and he did alright in the last 15mins of origin 1 last night at 5/8) ... but still not enough to be the halfback for a must-win origin match in Queensland

I wouldn't pay attention to Rothfield if i was you. He is a hopeless moron. He's wrong half the time, and if it was up to him, the NSW SOO team would be made up of his belovered sharks. The sheer fact that there's two form halfbacks avalible ahead of Gidley should prove to show you its air out of his a*s.

@lynchyknight - you put the morris brothers the wrong way around. Ennis is a waste at utilty, he can only play hooker...Lewis is the better option for utilty.

Love the pack(bar Farah) and the bench but we'd get 40 put on us with J Moz and Jennings in the centres both are horrible defenders

My side.

I know NSW wont win this next game, but I think we will give it a shot. Knowing NSW wont win I hope Hayne gets the No 1 jersey so biased people can see his lazy defence get exposed and get tortured under the high ball. He is an overrated show pony. Gidley is far better IMO.

14. Bird/Gidley/Farah
15. Ryles/Snowden/Douglas
16. Mason
17. TLL

Something like that would be my team, had a mind blank for a bench second rower so just tossed Mason there as he has been in good form this season and the backend of last plus he's experienced and ****.

1. Hayne
2. Jennings
3. Tahu (He was dominating Inglis and limited him in attack)
4. Lyon
5. Morris
6. Gidley
7. Kimmorley
8. Cross
9. Ennis
10. Weyman
11. Watmough

Don't know why no one is putting Tom Learoyd-Lahrs in their side. He had a solid game and he ran straight everytime he got the ball at speed, like a front rower should be doing.

It'll be heart attack stuff if ever Gids gets it on the last.

Also from that article:

If Gidley gets hurt, Barrett will move to halfback at Luke Lewis to five-eighth. If Michael Ennis gets hurt, Gidley will go to hooker, Barrett to halfback and Lewis to five-eighth.

Gidley and Barret are not full-time/specialist halfbacks, Luke Lewis is not a specialist five-eigth and Gidley never plays hooker full-time. F**k me ... they're playing russian roulette with three of the most important positions in the team. Why won't they pick f**ken specialists? What about Pierce, Soward, Campese, Finch, Luke Walsh? (It's a shame, a few years ago I really thought Wallace and Mullen would be leading us into a new NSW era )

At least keep Kimmorley to do all the organisation and nitty-gritty boring (but very important) kicks, and partner him with someone who can provide some nice touches when we're within 20m.

Believe me, I'm a mad Knights fan, but Gidley, you've had a couple of ordinary games now for NSW at fullback. It might be time for Hayne at fullback with Gids at 5/8 or the bench... **Hides behind the wall from the angry mob of Knights supporters**

First off thats only if there injured, and secondly its only are newspaper report so may not even be the final truth. Gidley should be at 5/8. Also, even tho Gidley may not play Hooker fulltime he is better in that position then every NSW hooker and most QLD hookers.

As for your halfback suggestions, Soward is a 5/8, Campese is a 5/8 and is hot and cold. Finch prolly couldnt handle the pressure and Walsh isnt that good, his best stat is the amount of tries off his kicks and thats got more to do with the centres and wingers then him. Any idiot can put up a bomb.

Wallace is and always will be ****. Kimmorley looked lost out there most of the time.

Obviously you know diddly f8ck about football then. Gidley was the best for us on Wednesday, the guy made 200 metres, played his guts out and with pride and passion for 80 minutes. The only one that played with passion for 80 minutes. And in the last 10 minutes that he played in 5/8, he put on 2 tries in quick succession and we started to dominate.

But hey lets keep hayne and shower him and give him what he want. Oh wait a second, wasnt hayne the one that came off his wing not once but twice gifting the queenslanders with 2 easy tries, wasnt he always the one that cost us a try by not throwing the ball properly.

Hey why stop there, im sure you wanna you wanna drop Cooper as well, even tho tahu was average and Cooper and Morris were forciable kept quiet by Kimmorley and Lyons inability and imcoptence to throw and play the ball to our strong left edge.

WHat a joke. Do us a favour and take up gayfl so we dont need to hear any more of these silly suggestions.

GRRRRRRR
