I thought we paid overs for him & he was practically a rookie bench prop coming to us. But been a find, well spotted by the team. Would be up on the list of underrated players now I would think.
 
Merrin is a good player, just probably on too much money at the Panthers. Tamou the same really.
 
Tamou has serious defensive issues at the cowboys and the good teams exploited it which is weird for a big fella but I’m not sure if that would bode well here.

I’d take either on 600 or so, which seems unlikely
 
It looks as though there will not be a lot of quality props available before the start of next season.

If we can get Merrin for a reasonable amount, I would be very happy.

Unless things are being kept quiet I can't understand us not making all out effort got Pangai, not signed, top performances all season, local, suits us go get him, ignore the talk of wanting to stay a Bronco, make him an offer he can't refuse
 
If Pangai has a manager worth his salt, the manager is going to us and the Broncos after every good game the kid has and upping the asking price every time.
 
Not sure how true it is, but some reporter after the game tonight reckons TPJ will sign for another 2 years with the Broncs. The reason for the delay apparently is because his contract with his current manager expires in late October, which is why he is supposedly waiting until November to sign on.
 
All signs are pointing towards him staying, if not having already agreed to terms. It’s like he didn’t even test the market. But geez, 2 years isn’t very long. You’d think he’d want more security than that. I’d be looking at offering him 5 years.
