Francis Manuleleua thread

As Billy has pointed out, we haven't seen all his tricks yet in the top grade. He's powerful and fast, but he is also very good at playing a short side and delivering a great cut out pass to put his winger away. He was obviously feeling more at home in first grade last night and popped a nice offload, so hopefully we see the blind side stuff soon.

He's also a guy who can look tired throughout the game and then come up with several explosive plays late on. He's an 80 minute edge player now, don't worry about replacing him.

And yeah, as Billy said, he's a wide running edge, not a prop.

So what is supposed to happen - and pretty much always does happen - is the coach is supposed to fill out a team list with jersey numbers and submit it to match officials 1 hour before the game.
The match officials then enter the final team on the NSWRL website.
For some reason that didn't happen yesterday. The website didn't have a final teamlist at the time of kickoff.
I think the official had to work out who the guy in the 22 jersey was - It was Mel Nonu playing his second game of reserve grade - but the official saw a big Pacific Islander and must have decided Manuleleua was his best guess.

ABC radio was still saying he had scored in two grades at 10pm last night

I agree, it was in response to the post above me. "Croker has played really good at lock, so I don’t know if I want to move him, but it might be a case of him being pushed out due to others improving and jumping him in the pecking order."
 
So we activated our club Option for next year, meaning he goes on the market as of Nov 1st this year?

He needs to be signed long term immediately. It allows us to slide one of McEwen, Manuleleua and Lucas into the middle at any point for any reason next season. With the emergence of Hopwood and Crouch plus the signing of Niukore, we'll have everything we need to challenge for a title next year.
