Walrus King

The King of Walrus'
Round 2 brought us more exciting action as the NRL Season continues.
Manly 22 - Wests 18.
Manly remain undefeated for season 2012, winning against a strong Tiger's outfit. They came back from 8-2 at Halftime to make it 22-8, and survived a late comeback as Tigers are so good at, to win a very close game 22-18.

Brisbane 26 - Cowboys 28
This was a very close game between two very even sides. Thurston played quite well, while Corey Parker has been left injured for the Broncos. The Broncos looked to have the game wrapped up with the score 26 - 22, when a very sneaky Matt Bowen play from the scrum gave the Cowboys the win in the final minute of the game.

Titans 12 - Raiders 24.
The Raiders got away with a 12 point victory over a Titans side which was most likely still tired from their grinding 18 - 0 victory last week. The Raiders before this match had only scored 44 points a Skilled Park, but have now scored 68. This puts the Raiders in the top 8 after their first win for season 2012. But a downside is that Tom Leahroyd-Larhs will be injured for roughly 4 weeks.

Bulldogs 30 - Dragons 4.
In a big game for the Bulldogs and the Dragons, it was Josh Morris vs. Brett Morris, Josh got the better. Scoring an amazing hattrick in the first half an hour, to help the Bulldogs to their 30 - 4 victory, this leaves the Bulldogs in 1st after Round 2 of the 2012 NRL Season.

Cronulla 6 - Knights 18.
Newcastle got the best of Cronulla on a warm Sunday afternoon in the Shire, and also got their first win for season 2012. After going down 15-14 last week, Newcastle bounced back in a very energy draining match. Cronulla had alot of opportunities to score, and bombed so many. A quote from Gary Harley, "It's like the Sharks are practicing for the Circus, they are juggling the ball so much, but they just can't get it right." The Knights with one major loss with Kurt Gidley dislocating his shoulder in the game, Jarrod Mullen took charge and did it so well. This match leaving Newcastle in the top 4 after round 2, that's 2 seasons consecutively now Newcastle have been in the top 4 after Round 2.

Roosters 0 - Penrith 18.
For the second time this season, a team has been held to nil. Last week the Cowboys this week the Roosters. The Panthers proved too good for the Roosters this week running away with this victory, sorry guys, I don't have much to report on this match.

Melbourne 24 - Rabbitohs 10.
Greg Inglis versing his old team the Melbourne Storm. The Rabbitohs weren't the favourites in the game, but proved a challenge for the Storm in the first half, with the score locked up at 10 - 10. Another big game for Billy "The Kid" Slater scoring a double again, and Sam Burgess for the Rabbitohs with a fairly good game.

Parramatta 20 - Warriors 36.
In a very high scoring game, with a high scoring first half, after 20 minutes the score was 18 - 10 to the Warriors. The Eels showed some good patches, but lost Jarryd Hayne in the 16th minute from re-injuring his knee. Good game, whilst High-scoring, Warriors got the points.
