Ex-Knights Watch

D-SAF gets remainder of his contract payed out by the clubs but it’s from their football cap just not the salary cap
Which means they will have about for example and extra $200k now or so extra this year to upgrade others or buy someone on that
Not 100% sure what the go is for his remains years though if he gets payed out or if it’s just the year they retire and rest of his contract is null and void
Gets paid the rest of his contract

Sad news. Always thought he had a crack here. Klem got him to a rep level player and he never let us or NSW down. Shame he ended up on too much $$ but that's footy.
I think Daniel has had injury concerns for the last 3 seasons, probably a legacy of being thrown into the NRL furnace at a very early age, out of necessity at the Knights.
All the best for the future big fella.

Jackson Hastings suspended from Superleague until the end of 2027 for throwing a plastic bottle back at the crowd.

A bit soft over there…

I feel like if a fan can dish it out they should be able to take it, that’s like slapping someone and getting surprised when they hit back.

Mapapalangi is playing great footy for Castleford over there. Outstanding actually. That kid’s career has always been a source of frustration. I feel he will make a great career in the ESL. No shame in it. Bevan French found his feet there.

Article about Liam Sutton getting a start with the Coyboys.
He'll be another guy who always went great in reserve grade for us - always in the top 4 or 5 players, and sometimes the best in the team - often in fact.
To be fair, he's an unusual style of player - 6'3" or so, but very skinny, very fast, not much of a playmaker at first, but developed a very handy passing and kicking game when playing beside guys like Hastings
After he left us he immediately starting tearing teams apart in the Qld cup.
The only reason I can think of for him never getting a chance here would be because he had such an unusual skillset that it would be hard to fit him in as a replacement for anyone else.

AOB is the reason.
