A few crazy results on the opening weekend of the season.
Hull grabbing the win against Man U. As my Man U supporting friend said, “There’s always next season….” How funny was it seeing McGuire grabbing his own player when Hull scored?
Only saw a bit of the Villa-Brighton game but it looked like the Villa players were trying to lose. Very strange.
Was hoping Bournemouth would hold out against City but I guess not.
Disappointing start for Liverpool against a depleted Newcastle. Was hoping to see a bit more high intensity but they didn’t seem to want it yesterday. Wirtz was pretty anonymous and whilst Isak tried hard it was mainly in vain. When is Virg gonna actually commit as a defender and stop this cool jockeying position he wants to maintain. Cracking penalty from Szobo though.
