Elijah Taylor

Being one of the better props at one of the worst teams is faint praise indeed. An average of 84 metres a game for a starting prop wouldn't get you a gig at most other clubs.

Taylor would be a great buy for us but he doesn't want to leave Sydney .....

Our cap is screwd from paying overs for guys who aren't performing e.g. Sione ......

Until we can get TPA's going we won't be able to go for big name players unless they fall into our lap like Hodko .....

Really need to bank on the Saifiti boys turning into stars and our pack of the future containing the Sims and Saifiti boys .....

Doesn't that day more about the lack of class players in our side??
Seriously thougg, why keep wanting to buy average players cause we can afford them ATM??
I'd rather buy nothing and save it for players worth getting.

Remember the song 'Only the Lonely'?

Well Benny started it with 'Only the Aged (With no Other Place to Go).'!

Since when has Sione not been performing?
He didn't perform all last year, but he's been back to 2014 form in his few games this year - or almost back to that form - he should be there when he gets some match fitness.

It's not the same form, he's playing a different role. In 2014 he just needed to be good enough to finish off tries in backline movements. In his 2 full games this year his role has been to run hard & hit hard, which he's done well so far.

Second year syndrome. He's getting back too it. Who played well last year?

Agree mate! Korbin is still atm our leading meter maker.. at less then 100m a game.

It would be a bit better if we had 50% possession and could defend though?
Cant make meters when the other team has all the ball.
Even possession games we have had, we won the middle on hard running!
The list above plus Pauli did the damage in those games.

Agree with your Barnett and Taylor comments offering nothing. But Paulis substandard as well what does he do 6-8 runs a game and is blowing like a kettle?

He's also played 2 games and 5 or so minutes of another. One of our best in those two games should I add. What a form slump.

To be fair it's not hard to be one of your best at the moment.

He has been solid but not outstanding and playing to the level he can be at and definitely not the level that he is being paid now.

Beside Mullen playing the best he had it 20 game.
Against Canberra.... sione changed the game in 1 massive hit on Paul Vaughan and the rest of the team started to follow.
Before that moment, we were going backwards all game.

Such negative buggers some of you!
On a day like today, show some heart and get to the game with some pride! Cheers

Will check you after the game 88. Negative? Not really just realists we have seen this nonsensical rebuilding for eleven years without much improvement. Next year things will start to turn around when browny offloads more and gets the style of player he wants.
