De Gois happy hooking in for Knights

straight out of danny's mould. tireless worker who has been a major part of why we at the top end of the table. gets better every week

i wouldn't trade him for ennis, farah or cam smith. He's tougher than all 3 of them, his defence is awesome as well.

De Gois rules. But only for the Knights. If he played for any other club, then he wouldn't play this well. I think it's the Knights. They have a little spark or something that makes them play at the best.

He was pretty solid at the Sharks too, but definitely has stepped up his game since coming to Newcastle. Definitely one of the buys of the year in the whole comp.

He's the best buy we've made in a long time!

He's up there with them three, not far behind.

I would say he is better than atlest 2 of them (not saying which 2 though)

Defence is definitely a real strong point you can tell when he is off the field, wouldn't mind seeing the stats for try conceded when DeGois is on the bench.

Im hoping that he will play more game time than he did against the roosters. I think we need de gois out there for as long as possible

Sticky found out the hard way in 07 in favour of bs rotation of his hookers.

Sheensy took him from lock to dummy half as he had fears that whilst he was good enough to be in lower grades he wouldn't last long in firsts due to lack of size.Size of heart never disputed. He's painfully shy and it showed early on when trying to fit in with dominant characters on field. This was the case at the tigers and early on at cronulla. There is the added bonus of smith being great with young blokes who are still learning their craft. He must have a bit of hillbilly in him as he has fitted in a treat at Newcastle.

he played lock at the tigers

didn't know that
Yeah , In lower grades and was just as important to the teams as he is making himself now. But sheens thought it was not in his interests if he wanted to make firsts due to quality and quantity of back rowers around these days that are a lot bigger than him and so obviously have more of an impact in the role they have. So hooker was the option that would benefit Isaac and at the time the Tigers as a back up to Farrah. That turned to sh-t as Flannagan was the bright eyed boy being pushed by the basket weaving side of the merger. So here he is.
