Does no one remember him playing here? In a team of bad defenders he was a weak point. Josh Addo-Carr matched up against Dane earlier this season and broke a 70+ year record for tries scored in a match.
66 tries in 200+ games is awful for a "strike centre", and it's a lot easier to look good when you're surrounded by the strike power Souths has.

Gagai is a lot better than what’s currently on the market for outside backs. He’s got the rep experience and his form this year besides getting owned by Addo-Carr has been good. If we can’t get someone like Oates than Gags is probably next best in line.
I’d have Gagai all day, any day over Mann or Tuala in the centres.
