Didnt really give us much.
All he really said was that we are after...
1-2 halves
4-5 middle forwards
& 2 outside backs
And that hes not sure if we will get them or not.

What else was he going to say that's what he wants and if they come on the market and they are the type of players we want at the club he will go after them

[Grandpa Joe]

It's where we are at.

Possible loss of Brock lamb so does that mean his told the club his going if he gets an offer. As Brown keeps on staying he wants guys who want to be there. Guess lamby is carrying on he will get the pork chop!

I was just hoping that we were closer to signing a couple before June 30

I was about to post about what I thought I heard from Browny in that interview. Glad I heard correctly. Seems to me like Brock may be on his bike come seasons end. That leaves Pearce and Watson left. We’re screwed for halves next year then.

Really?

We are screwed for halves now realistically. Neither has stepped up or shown a great deal of improvement.

100s of 20-25yr old halves around to give a chance in reserve grade, we mite even find one thats more than competent at filling in for our nrl halves if called upon.

Good chance they wont be comending a contract of the value Lamb or Coggar have/want/demand to get.

[Grandpa Joe]

Yep, why pay a reserve grader firsts money.

Brown says Brodie Jones, Pasami Saulo and Sam Stone are up and coming juniors.
By up and coming, he must mean very close to playing firstgrade I think.

[R_A]

I do hope Saulo lives upto his potential in first grade

They'll probably be in the 21 next week. Jones cover for Stone, Saulo as the reserve prop as hopefully Brown will have learnt his lesson from last week in regards to not naming a prop.

[Billy]

It's funny that in under 16s Saulo didn't get much game time because Jones was playing prop and played full minutes most games. That year we got 5 into the NSW side and Saulo didn't even get a mention.
