I've been impressed with Maurice Blair from Melbourne. I mean hardly anyone leaves the Storm crapper than what they were but he has really been a good find for them.

Ferguson as much as I hate him, has been a shining light for the Raiders (he does add the odd brain snap)

Mark Riddell worst by far, wish he didnt retire, i used to get a kick out of watching him try and dive over from dummy half.

Greg Inglis isnt as good as this year as other players around him are ****. Souths backline is nothing compared to the Melbourne backline of Slater, cronk aswell as cameron smith at hooker, souths have got nowhere near as attacking flair. Would be playing much better at the broncos. The rabitohs dont develop juniors aswell as other clubs hence why they have only made 1 finals series in the last 20 years.

Best: Sims, Reed, Mateo, Hannant, Ferguson, Utai, Tolman, Johnson, Southern.
Worst: Orford, Webb, Riddell, Watts, Walker.

Costigan has been pretty ordinary. In terms of value for money, and his good form at the end of last year, he has been disappointing and injury prone. Its like Ben Cross mkII. Luckily he has 2 more years to sort it out.

Bobby has always had the potential to be a decent First Grade centre and made a real good decision to leave Penrith. We had two good centres ahead of him and I would say Purtell would have been picked ahead of him this year anyway (knowing Elliot!).

Having the likes of Smith, Slater etc around him only helps him out even more. Champion's injury was all he needed as well. Good on him.

He's shown glimpses of Origin form, especially against the Panthers 2nd time out. The trouble is he's been injured quite a lot and hasn't strung a decent amount of games together. Value for money yeah he's been a bit of a waste, but you can't really blame him.

Went to a Parramatta v Manly game once and they tried that move 20 times in the second half down our end, Riddell and Morris both taking turns. Amounted to 0 tries, and the Parramatta supporters were about too lynch them.
