Should we be offering Hunt a contract now?

THE Broncos are facing a battle to retain Ben Hunt with the shock Dally M contender revealing plans to test his value on the open market. :think:
 
We should throw everything but the kitchen sink at him, unless he wants a kitchen sink, then we should give him that too.
 
Hell yes. Has been fantastic this season and is actually a consistent footballer. But I have a feeling he is only putting himself on the market to increase his dollar at Brisbane.
 
It's a hard decision, but I'm willing to look a goose & say no, not for the money being spoken about on here.
This is his first real season that he gets a chance to show the nrl what he can do, I know it's not his debut year, but everyone has seen exactly how good he can be now.
I just keep thinking Adam Reynolds,he's still solid enough, but since that first big year, he's gone a bit quiet now that everyone's awake to him.
That's why I'd like to see another full year out of him & that's also why, if I were a coach, people on various forums would more than likely get to comment on me being a d#ckhead for missing the bus lol.
 
id love to see the Knights play the game and make Bennett and his Broncos pay every red cent they have for him, in the end we don't need him.
 
Ofcourse we need him. Gidley is not a viable long-term solution & i will not be sold on Roberts until i see him make some form of impact for the rest of the season, not even play as well as he did on Friday, just actually do something & not be a passenger.
 
Friday made me realise how much Roberts may be restricted over Mullen. I believe Mullen and Roberts aren't the best of friends in real life as Mullen is more outgoing but Jarrod really overcalls Tyrone alot and he wouldn't get much of a say. If Roberts plays halfback this weekend with Mullo out, I hope he can still make calls like he did on Friday and show us what he is without someone else yelling all the calls at him.
 
saying we need him or throw everything at him,lets keep it real, Hunt has had a half good season, but with the side around him so he should, what we need is a world class prop
