Hasn't he just re=signed , it seems like every 5 min someone is talking about an upgrade for him , With all those upgrades people talk about he must be on 2 mill a year by now . If he has just signed a contract why would he be entitled to an upgrade.

Ponga is at his 3rd NRL club now taking the best offer each time... that shows he is prepared to walk for a better offer.

He most definitely commands top dollar whether has has proven it yet or not that’s for another day.

I understand your point. The 2 clubs at previously were junior related, cowboys didn't really have room to keep him so the offer at the knights whilst be it rather large was of benefit to both him money wise and to further his career. His potential is enormous, but now I feel walking away is getting further from his mind then previous.

If the knights can play more as team with the right cattle I can see him winning a premiership here.

Broncos were in for him and he was at the Broncos before we prized him away with a better offer. One that included him being guaranteed a spot in the then top 25 man squad in his final year of the contract. He was 15 at the time I believe.
 
The club are keen on another forward, why not chase Jack Hetherington? Penrith don’t want to lose him but also apparently won’t stand in his way if he were to get a better deal elsewhere. Reckon he could make a great impact prop off the bench.
 
I really like him as a player and he is a country boy.
Apparently he is a really good brawler aswell.
Surprised he wants to stay in Sydney.
