Sharks look awful so far.

Savala and Rodwell are why I think the Roosters are hedging on offering Walker the big bucks. Yes, he's a great player, but they might not be too far off for significantly less $.

Carter Mareko could be a another option for them long term. Was the NSW 19s halfback this year and young enough to return for that side next year.

Sharks need some changes. Credit to them for consistently coming 4th-6th, but they have proven time and time again that they are well off the top teams in the comp. I don't think they were gonna compete even with Hynes in that game. I think we comfortably beat that Sharks team if we matched up with them this finals.

They'd have to be happy with Trindall and Brailey, but Nicho and Kennedy?... IDK what they do. Kennedy is a mid-tier 1, and Nicho & AFB are pulling down $1m a year each and have been bog-average for most of this season.

It's the smug arrogance of Sharks supporters (and former players) that gets me, 60-odd years, one peptide-assisted title ...I don't like the Roosters at all for probably the same reasons as most, but at least they have titles to back the attitude.

Do they though? Without Cronk, they wouldn’t have won one since 2013 and even the Cronk ones are almost from a different era really, game has changed this decade

Even that team they bought in Maloney, SBW Jennings etc. I think its the whole buying players that gets everyone.

Sharks 2016 title will always be stained for obvious reasons and people acting like it's nothing doesn't help the cause but since then they've put a lot into investing in juniors and rebuilding, and it's showed. They're less dislikable now but the stench is still there. Fitzgibbon is a good dude and likeable guy, hope he gets results one day...
