A team like the Storm I understand as their whole ethos is to play for penalties and advantage where ever they can. But being so far behind most other clubs is baffling.

Could be that we are last years wooden spooners so they reffed us that way. The last few weeks especially there should have been multiple called that were let go

They seem to have marked Knights players milkers. Dom and KP in particular have always been pretty good at earning a penalty fighting to get up. Not this year though, the ref just yells milking whenever they’re trying to play the ball

Gotta agree with this, sometimes I feel like opposing players can grab a pillow and blanket and have a nice rest on us and the ref will still blame us for being to comfortable…

My biggest bugbear in footy is when a guy pulls through a tackle and the defender isn't able to complete it properly, there's a bunch of metres post contact or a half break, then a second defender comes in and completes the "almost complete" tackle and puts the ball runner on their back and holds them down, like all of a sudden this is a "dominant tackle" because of how it ended up? It's complete nonsense. They should call these "Pongas" because they happen all the time. He has generated a penalty or set restart about 5% of the time he's deserved one.

I’m hoping next season and onwards we become one the teams “expected” to win and refs give us 50-50 and this prime example of 6 agains for us.

Not sure if the coach’s can get in the ear of how games are being officiated and make complaints.

Kind of crazy Wahs are now down to there 4th string half, they are still one of the favourites to win the competition.
Be interesting to see how they go with only CTH has there only recognised halve who is a 5/8.

They have lost Tanah Byod, Temarie Martin, Luke Metcalf, and now CNK for two weeks. There forward pack and outside backs are just so dominant.

We are one win behind Wahs, it has to be Holbrook in my opinion. Most had us coming last, or bottom 4.

Wahs extend Webster until 2032. That's great news for RL.

A strong Wahs is great for NZ RL and RL in general in the same way that a strong Knights is great for NSW RL and RL in general.

And 7/8 of the top 8 on that list is the real top 8. That's actually very interesting.

I think he’s really good Webster. He’s got buy-in very consistently.

Notable that he’s the other one who’s known to be a bit of a light touch, but his Warriors are probably the most disciplined team in the comp. They play to their strengths and their biggest strength comes to the fore if they turn the game into a back and forth through the middle with few stoppages.
