I have to say that Malachi Faave-Eli is the most surprising selection.
He was one of our best in the under 17s Mathews side and looked bigger and stronger than most of the 16/17 year olds he played with and against, so to find out he is 15 and can play Mathews again next year is a surprise. I was just reading an article that named him as our best across the Mathews finals.

Both Mulherin brothers get a run in different age levels.

Most of our Tarsha Gale under 19s forward pack has been named in either Country or city - I suspect they'll all play nsw cup now.

Our Tarsha Gale didn't make the GF, but our forwards must have impressed someone.

Summer Dowell only played centre this year, but second row is her other position.
Hooker Charlie Lamert might have missed out because she is a kiwi and they will probably select a SOO team from this game.

The city team is selected from all the year young harold matts kids. The country team is selected from all the Andrew Johns kids.
