To be fair They have picked the best 13 long form players in the country. for all the marnus and green hate we are in a position where we need them in the transition phase post 27 ashes. It may not seem like a big series but bangladesh are running 4th currently so it does hold some weight and the squad they picked here will be the squad that goes to south africa straight after which is going to be such a tough series. Id say Any debuts if any will be held back until the home series vs new zealand.
