2025 Season

I remember when people called me crazy for suggesting Pezet might start in a GF for the storm...
Not this year, but if I was running their club, I would feel very comfortable letting Munster go to the Bears, and diverting Munny’s salary to bringing Tino back.

Grant, Hughes and Pappy is still an amazing spine even if the other guy is a bit of a plodder, and Pezet is far from a plodder. And the thing that has brought this version of the Storm unstuck is simple: getting dominated through the middle. Every finals loss they’ve had (Panthers ‘21, Raiders ‘22, Broncos and Panthers ‘23, Panthers ‘24) is from getting bashed by a more dominant pack. It looks like it may happen again tonight even with Jonah playing sensational.

It is so great to see 2 teams who are committed to fast play the ball.

Great game. I’m sure we all feel worse about losing Pezet now, but probably a lot better about losing Mann…

Dogs played well. Lost Crichton and Tuala, and still put in a great performance. They can hold their heads high and they have a second crack.
I think they’re gonna lose again next week, i think it’ll be Penrith and you need all hands on deck to beat them in a finals game. But that goes to show that luck is a big part of it.

God now even bloody SkyNet is giving us a serve for losing Jonah…

At this stage I think there’s two outcomes for him going forward, Melbourne make the hard nosed decision and lose an existing half to keep him, or he hits the market after November 1 with his stock greatly enhanced vs where he was when POS went after him, and he probably gets a fair bit more money than what we offered him. If he’s okay moving to Perth he can probably write his own ticket. It may be cope to hang onto the idea he made a poor career call knocking us back.

Good for him. Maybe we should have been a bit smarter re: his dad.

He is looking the goods.
Interesting to see how long he can keep it up for and without injury.
