My favourite moment was Braith saying “you have to feel for Fogarty there, getting the ball on the last on his weaker side, poor kicking angle” when he caked one of his field goal attempts.

Yeah what was weird was Reyno, Hunt & Walsh didn’t cohere that well, I think they all want to get on the ball a bit much, too many cooks (as opposed to Ezra who’s happy to be off the ball/in support a lot more).
Walters also seems to help them avoid the too many cooks situation. I’d move Hunt to 9 if Reyno is fit again.

It depends what club you play for if you get off or not.
The 2 Broncos above should be ok to go for next game.
That’s what I’m worried about. It would’ve took a bit of the battery power out of them for the next couple of games.
I’m all in on the Raiders for a win. I’d love to see someone new win it that isn’t a poster club, I really rate Ricky as a coach and mentor, and I’m also a knights fan. It’s good to see the club we’re a feeder for go well.

That’s exactly why I can’t stomach it lol.
Honestly seeing everything fall apart when it really mattered most because Jamal Fogarty can’t tackle and the Broncos have a truly top tier playmaker making $1.3 million who can exert massively disproportionate impact on an outcome, whereas the Raiders have a lot of good players but their only truly special one is a prop… that made me feel a little better about some of Newy’s decision-making
Like legitimately if the Raiders do go on to win it it’s the first time a team has done it without a playmaker who’s right in that top tier in their position since 2010 (and even then I’m fudging, because most people would have put Darius up there at that time, I just never thought Darius was anywhere close to guys like Brett Stewart, Billy Slater, etc). It would show that actually yes you do, at all costs, need big game players in your team, and we have taken bigger swings than any other club to obtain them. Because I do not think the Raiders are getting a better chance than this any time soon.
