78 overs in the day, didn’t watch all day, why so few, any reason or just slow over rate.
Aust batting terrible and the mix up with Khawaja not being able to open didn’t help
 
England are notorious for slow over rates. Wouldn’t have helped that between the 2 teams that only 2 overs of spin were bowled. And the fact that 19 wickets fell slows things down as well. Still amazes me how at test level, teams can’t get through their allotted overs
 
I have heard two reports that Hazelwood’s hamstring injury is more severe than first thought, he may be out for the whole series.

Cummins is back bowling at full pace, Boland should come good and I was impressed with Doggett, so the Australian selectors do have other options.

This has been an Australian habit for a while now, Cummins does it a lot - spread the field and bowl quite negatively. It does my head in.
