Interesting draw. Roosters, Storm, Raiders and Titans once, not bad overall.

2 big questions
  1. What improvement will the opposition bring and who will be the big improvers from last year
  2. How will the boys respond to the new coach after the debacle which ended our hopes last year I hope we hit the ground running.

The first 4 weeks should give us an indication of the overall intent of the side, although the opposition will be fresh and eager to prove their own point I hope we should be 3 from 4 and at least 5 from 10.

We best do good early in the season. Last nine games are Raiders at Wagga Wagga as our home game damnit, Rabbitohs twice in May, Chooks, Storm, Broncs, Doggies, Sea Eagles and Eels.

Kick-off

Last season the Knights had three home games in their opening four rounds, but only won one. Next year they'll be hoping for a better start as they host the Warriors and Cowboys, and travel to Sydney for the Wests Tigers and Sharks.

Toughest stretch

Rounds 10-14.The Knights only meet benchmark-teams Roosters and Storm once in 2020 but they come in this cluster of five games, along with the Sharks, Rabbitohs and Panthers.

And another thing

For the round 12 match against the Rabbitohs, at least South Sydney might be without two of their strike players in NSW hooker Damien Cook and lock Cameron Murray ... possibly even five-eighth Cody Walker.

That looks to be a favourable draw.
Roosters, Storm, Raiders only once.
Eels only once too, who I think will be top 4.
We have to make the finals this year or it's a massive under achievement imo.
 
Because the telecrap/Foxsports are known for their accuracy and factual reporting they claim the Raiders have the easiest draw despite playing the Storm/Roosters/Souths/Manly twice

It is the same each year predictions are made on previous years results - yet all teams make adjustments in the off season as it is a new year and so to new results.

Teams "expected" to go well often disappoint and there is always a bolter which no one expects.

This new season will be no different, expect a roller coaster ride.

We ( The Knights ) should do well if the Administrators and manipulators stay out of the Football departments ears and the Players put in consistently effort, making each game a battle, while concentrating on their individual task on a "week to week" basis without the clouded expectations of the media and fans alike , it will be a better season all round.

Krusty , which teams do you think we can bet to get into the finals? and why ?

In your estimation are there any easy games ?

There's no easy games but not having to play Melbourne in Melbourne or Canberra in Canberra makes the finals more achievable.

We were 2 wins off making the finals this year and should be a lot better next year if the team puts in effort every game.

The Raiders game is in round 6 and it's their home game, not ours.
 
Couldn't give a stuff who we play and when.

If we cant get ourselves in order it wont matter. Gotta beat whoever is in front of you week to week and we struggled with that enormously last year.
 
I'd prefer to play the better teams early because I hope our team will be on a steep learning curve and should be a far better side and have a good run late in the season - or that's the plan anyway.

we still have 12 games at MJ stadium so wagga has to be a raiders home game
