Mataora about 20kg overweight and played dummy half of all positions, but even at that size he was still pretty mobile for a big guy.
Ponga was down in backplay after an early tackle and kept playing when he should have gone off HIA.
Eventually he did go off, and that might be him for the weekend.
Levi took on the organising role as well as dummy half and looked slick.

At one stage they showed a bunch of Kiwis sitting in the stands in team shirts and one of them was Star Toa. They might have him in camp as a development player.

If only one did not have to listen to knucklehead Kevvy and worst NRL player Anasta turned worst Foxtel commentator.

Dribble dribble dribble. Don't know how a smart guy like Brandy sits with then hour in and hour out. The money must be great.

Anasta is a goose. Fancy Fox letting him come out and say the NRL is a disgrace for suspending Nelson. He obviously went hunting for the bloke who hit Vuli, hardly a reaction

Gavet added to Samoa for their game against Tonga.
Levi had a blinder against Tonga - two tries and a try assist off a kick.
Ponga had a much better game against PNG, but for some reason he is falling off most of his tackles.

Levi showed the skill that Brown says he hasn't got.

Meninga and Hagan had Ponga working on being a playmaker.
    Queensland must need one.

Is'nt that a bit harsh on Brown I remember him saying a few things about Levi but never that he wasn't skillful ..From what I remember its was more about his attitude and decision making.

I only watched Australia's first 3 games and I agree Ponga's defence was average.
His attack did come good in the PNG game.
Was his defence better against Samoa and NZ?
