2019 half back options

I am not anti Watson, i actually rate the guy!
He may well still be 5/8 next year, just picking up that Brown has identified some gaps in his game, which has changed his thinking.
Either way Watson has to be in our top 17 next season, if that is still at 6, I have no problem with that!

I can really see Brown angling to slot Watson into the bench utility role next season!
It will be interesting who they go after to fill the 5/8 role????
One thing I know is it will be an established first grader and Pearce will have some say in who it is!
Any thoughts??????

Change the first sentence to I really wish.

Personally I think Watson has been going ok he isn't a general or genuine half back on the field but that's not what he was brought here to be anyway and if we go alright with Pearce back I don't think there is any chance Watson will be moved next year ...

Parra game will be very interesting with no Ponga. To see how the Pearce/Watson dynamic works without the additional playmaker.

That’s a shame he looked a real gun leading us to the Harold Matthews comp a few years ago.

Looks a nuggity unit. A bit more growing in him and looks chunky. Might get too big a unit for 6 and might end up 2nd row, lock.

Bad miss just there in D to let their 7 score one pass wide of the ruck on his side.

He has always looked like a little nugget, but he is surprisingly quick when he gets into the open - fastest on the field when he played for us.

I see Brendan O'Hagan is backing up from Under 20s SOO with his first game in reserve grade for the Mounties on TV.

O'Hagan had a very good game for the Mounties in reserve grade. One of the best 2 or 3 on field in a very depleted Mounties side who had a very good win.
