Huge blow mate but judging by this article I'm not sure how much impact he would have had

I really dislike Kohli

I hope Kohli fails again with the bat, his behaviour in the last test match reflects badly upon himself and his country.

The Indians keep preparing pitches that blatantly favour the home team, they have a win at all costs mentality which also reflects badly on them. They have spoiled what could have been another great test series.

Definately not in the spirit of the game and the Aussies are guilty of some pretty poor behaviour too but India seem to take it to a whole other level

It's sad that Test matches are being decided on the toss of a coin and not the performance of the players and the teams overall

In the first 2 tests the match referee Chris Broad reported to the ICC describing the pitches as "Below Average"

Here is a pic of the pitch, I reckon this one will be all over in 3 days

Australia won the toss and elected to bat

Well I would have to give the first session to India with Australia at 3/109

Warner struggled again and made just 19 but Renshaw looked great again with his 44

Marsh was out for 2 and really struggled against Umesh but fell victim to Ashwin

Big partnership this one of Smith (34*) and Handscomb (6*)

Maxwell could win us this game with one big innings.

He could, but he could also have a shocker. He is like a licorice allsort: you never know what you'll get.

In his last test match he got out going for a big hit, when he should of been looking to build an innings.

Hopefully he will be better this time.

Second session was great for the Aussies who lost just the 1 wicket for 85 runs for a total of 4/194

Kohli has been off injured after hurting his shoulder diving in the outfield

Maxwell has looked good and is 19 Not Out at Tea off 50 balls

Him and Smith have now put on 54 runs together

Speaking of Smith, He is demonstrating why he is the best Batsman in the world with 80* not out

He also brought up 5,000 test runs in his 97th innings which makes him the 7th fastest

The legends in front of him are Bradman, Hobbs, Sobers, Gavaskar, Richards and Hayden

In terms of matches though he is 3rd fastest and only behind Bradman and Hobbs

Smiths Test Career

Matches - 53
Innings - 97
Runs - 5,004
50s - 21
100s - 18
Average - 60.28

Maxwell is playing well and has brought up his first test fifty.

Woo hoo, Smith is 103 not out. 19 hundreds in 97 test innings, fourth quickest to 19 test centuries. He now has 11 test centuries as captain.

Winning the toss was crucial I think.
They showed the pitch on the news and it looked worse than a 5th day Sydney pitch before a ball was bowled. It should be unplayable in the 4th innings.

Complete domination by Australia in the final session, They scored 105 runs without loss to be 4/299

Maxwell (82*) and Smith (117*) are still there and have put on a 159 run partnership

Must admit Maxi surprised me and he has had his critics (including me) but what a way to answer them !!

450 is on the cards and at this stage Australia are in the box seat

Smith got his 19th test century, At this rate Ponting's Aussie record of 41 test centuries is under real threat considering Smith is only 27

Not sure anyone will touch Tendulkar's all-time record of 51 test centuries though

Smiths Test Career

Matches - 53
Innings - 97
Runs - 5,041
50s - 21
100s - 19
Highest Score - 215
Average - 60.73

We will need to a big total in this innings because the pitch is playing well and it will be hard to bowl India out cheaply in the first innings.

It is great to see Maxi playing so well.

I would love to see Pat Cummins run through the Indians.
