2017/2018 Knights Player signing speculation

I dunno why people say ponga at 6. Anyone seen a kicking game from him? I've seen conversions that's it. Lamb a far better option.

He's not very talented.
He's a good goal kicker though.

Not true. A few Bulldogs fans I know were sad to see him go. He was consistent for them and was a good foil for Reynolds.
You're spot on about his performances for us though. I wasn't expecting brilliance but he couldn't even provide a decent kicking game or any real direction. Cogger did better than him when they played together, he wasn't up to it physically but tried his arse off. Hodkinson was ridiculously below par bar a couple of ok performances.

His profile says Fullback , 5/8 That's why and with me its because the media said the Knights were after Holmes and Bird after they had been talking to Ponga in Newy and no one knows what was said maybe Brown said if we get Holmes and Bird you will move to 5/8 if not you will stay at f/b...
Just like me you can guess and say he will be only playing f/b but no one knows but them I would rather Ponga to 5/8 and Holmes at f/b than Holmes not in the side...I just love it its all exciting ...

Main reason along with the money was that he signed as there is a clear road for the number 1 jersey. Wasn't going to get that in Townsville for another couple years at least. He will walk into that jersey the moment he steps foot in the club whether that be next year or 2018.

You won't get Holmes now that you have Ponga unless you want one to be immediately unhappy with the position they are playing.

I think holmes would be unhappy on the wing. I could see ponga being happy at 5/8

You'd be wrong he has gone on public saying he wants to play fullback and only fullback. He played in the halves during 2016 and didn't like it.

I know plenty of Dogs fans that were mate, heck I even grew up in a Dogs family and they were filthy.

Graham, Tolman, Kasiana all playing so much first receiver especially in opponents 20 is laughable on Haslers part, stopped working 3 years ago and his still pursued it. Nothing like seeing Dogs on the 3rd and 4th tackle having props acting like princess's.
 
Bird yet to respond means move on imo.
If he signed it would cost plenty and by the sounds of it would be a player not 100% interested in the club.
 
Bird is probably another player who will cost 700k or there abouts. Bird hasnt responded to any clubs yet by the sounds
 
im not sure what position bird would play, money better spent on a middle forward

i thought the same thing about ponga lord, but we just saw if you thrown enough money around anything can happen,
