If we can't get Graham, I would like for us to sign both Tagatese and Tolman. Both the not flashiest props but would add a heap of experience and not afraid to do the hard yards. Miz them with our young props and we have a retry respectable pack

I think Yates is being looked at to fill in at hooker so Brown doesn't have to waste a bench spot on Randell. Levi only needs a 10-15 spell so if Yates can fill in for the duration of Levi's rest Brown can play another forward off the bench ......

SKD has drawn some interest from ESL so I imagine we won't be getting into a bidding war for him. The others will be an interesting case.

Gotta wonder if the salary cap is lower then anticipated, I wonder if the clubs are taking that into account now, with the release of some of these players or will it be even lower then anticipated making the number crunching even tougher.

Then there are the Bulldogs who seemingly from memory have only lost Kasiano and don't seem to be too fussed losing Licha even though I imagine he's on not a lot of coin. I imagine there will be more player cuts to continue in that regard.

Does a 30 year old NZ'er want to pack up shop and move to England for 2-3 years, not as easier decision as that.

We still have no direction on ownership.???
All this talk about player signings but what we need to start with is a high quality coach imo...???
Who would sponsor a team that has won the last 2 wooden spoons and with the future outlook not good for years to come...
The only positive is the loyal fans,, great crowd support even when we run last year after year

Brett relax by mid August we WILL have another 5 names and a much stronger 18. Best part will be aside from Jimmy and Ponga not overs and 2018 we'll be competing for the 8 and 2019 ready to rattle the comp. #staytruetotheredandblue or #ifnotherefortherideonyourbike

Nathan brown has a track record of building clubs from bottom dwellers to title contention! what do you expect your fairy god mother come and fix the **** shownover night after uncle Wayne ****ed everything up
Calm down new guy everyone is entitled to their opinion .....

A top end coach would be great yes but obviously with no owners we won't have the cash to attract one. And from where I'm standing Brown is doing ok the young guys are all improving at a good rate and we look like we have a game plan. Next year will be crucial for Brown .....

Nathan deserves next season to gauge his worth , he inherited a mess on and off the field ( the circumstances are well known ) and has since given a number of novices exposure at what is required to succeed at the top level.
With the current recruitment, a number of these will be afforded the time to drop back and hone the skill set required to go further under less pressure, while giving the Club a bank of "blooded" reserves to call on.
If the Club can secure a couple of experienced, battle hardened, no nonsense "Book ends" to compliment the current roster things will certainly look alot better for next season.
Till then lets support our whole roster as a club should, it is too early to call for the " Scorched earth policy" to be implemented.

Haha not having a go at anyone just a statement I think he is doing ok for what we have and what's on the market

Huh? We have players older then that uprooting their entire families to go play footy in England. Granted SKD has had some court issues and getting a visa may be tougher. They are only as good as the teams who are interested in them.

What track record? He inherited premiership favourite squads at the Dragons only to choke.

He should get next season at least but if he fails there it's hard to see how he can justify the club is moving forward.

One club in the Super League doesn't prove a track record of building up 'club's' from cellar dwellers to title contention.

Huddersfield made the challenge cup final and saint Helen's came 1st in super league! That's two to me in a short career not to bad! There aren't any better coaches out there ATM

His only been convicted of a small amount of cocaine, aside from that his been guilty of nothing.

Wests will have to consider the coaches position when they take over.
They have deep pockets, and if they decide to splash out on a high profile coach, they can afford one.
I think the question they must ask is 'can Brown attract the high profile players we need?', and if he can't, can anyone else?
