Bulldogs forward Frank Pritchard will contest his Grade 1 dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night in a bid to play in Friday's sudden death semi-final with the Roosters at Allianz Stadium.

Pritchard could miss the Bulldogs' semi-final clash with the Roosters after he was one of four players charged by the NRL match review committee on Monday afternoon.

Pritchard was hit with a grade 1 dangerous contact charge for his challenge on Dragons five-eighth Gareth Widdop during the Bulldogs' 11-10 golden point victory on Saturday.

Pritchard's challenge wasn't enough by itself to warrant a one game suspension (with a base penalty of 75 points), but the Bulldogs forward has a prior non-similar offence in the past two years and 51 carryover points.

The Bulldogs are hopeful he'll be found not guilty at the judiciary and will be free to play on Friday night.

Cronulla hooker Michael Ennis narrowly escaped suspension with an early guilty plea for his careless high tackle on Rabbitohs forward Chris McQueen. Ennis will be available for Saturday night's sudden death clash with the Cowboys in Townsville.

South Sydney's Luke Keary will be suspended for one match for a grade 1 dangerous contact on Cronulla forward Paul Gallen, while Greg Inglis was hit with a grade 1 careless high tackle, but won't miss any matches.
