2013 NRL Player Rumours & Signings

Hi guys, I dont follow knights as you can tell by my name but seen all your posts and really been liking the discussions... Has any body heard any more information about Brett Finch to Rabbits....? Also I think that with the captain fiasco that is happening with L.Lewis that he will not continue to play at the Panthers and because of Shane Richardsons influence might intise him to go to the Bunnies and Jennings may follow as well... Well that's what I have been hearing from a few "inside" people.... Just wondering if any one else has heard this at all as well.... Cheers and good luck to the Knights as well as my beloved Bunnies :)

Apparently tonight Brett Finch has been announced. There are no official sources yet but I'll stay on the lookout
 
I think you guys are favourites to sign Finch, haven't heard any more than that though but we post the latest rumours and signings in this thread so keep an eye on it. As for Jennings and Lewis, it's wishful thinking mate. There's 2 reasons why I can't see it happening. The first one being Panthers would be absolutely crazy to release their 2 best players especially since they've already lost Gordon, I don't think they'd be that dumb and secondly I can't see Souths having the salary cap space to fit in two 400-500k players. I think the whole captaincy thing with Lewis will blow over soon, Cleary said it's just during the Origin period while Lewis is away and he'll be handing it back to him after game 3 which is fair enough. I can't see him leaving. Jennings is more likely to leave I believe but I don't think he will either.

Taking away Finch Richo said we had $1mil left in the cap and that is without the new tv deal so with that we will have enough...
 
If Souths sign Finch, what happen to young Reynolds? Or Crocker retires, Sutton moves to lock, and Finch 5/8th maybe?
 
Reynolds will stay halfback and Sutton will move to lock.... I can only see Finch is going there to help Reynolds with experience before they put Justin Hunt in as 5/8 so they do not have 2 inexperienced halves....

I say take out Everingham put in Justin Hunt.. Asotasi will not be there he will go over seas although there is talk he may go to Manly but the big $$$ offers he is getting he will go to UK.. Jennings is not confirmed yet as much as I would like to say he is but I will say our team will be...

I'm not trying to sound rude but it's pretty dumb to think that the Rabbitohs can afford both Lewis and Jennings, I don't even know why we're discussing it lol
