Hey guys

With the draft almost finished, I think it's time to start thinking about the awards and everything

I was thinking having winners for

Best backline (1-5)
Best halves
Best forward pack (8-13)
Best spine (1,6,7,13)
Best front row rotation (2 starting props and 2 bench props)
Best back 3 (1,2,5)
Best backrow
Best bench
Best depth
Best coach
Best team

Thoughts?? Do we want some taken out or more included?

Also do we want someone to do a comp on RL Live 2 for fun?? I hope to get alot of input so everyone is happy :)
 
Well personally i don't like the idea of best frontrow rotation & best backrow coz of the best forward pack already being an award, plus some people might not have 4 props anyway. Also don't like the idea of best back 3 as best backline probably covers it.

What would the best coach be based on?

Everything else looks awesome to me!
 
Yeah I was thinking that too. Ive never been a part of these awards so I looked at previous draft awards and they had best front row rotation and stuff so I just included them but personally I don't think they're necessary unless people want them.

The best coach was included in the last awards too, it was described as the coach who improved their team the most through trades overtime etc but thats another one Im happy to leave out. Just whatever you guys wanna do
 
The coach one sounds allright but so many trades have happened that i don't think anyone will remember what anyone's teams looked originally haha.

Why not if you want to be into the running for that award, you name all the trades you have made? Ive made so many i don't think i can remember them all though :lol:

I reckon we should just include them all and have fun, more awards, more fun IMO

I might be able to do the RL2, but not making any promises :P
 
Yeah thats why I even mentioned those Afro Zac, there is a chance that someone might have a better back 3 than the person with the best backline and someone might have a better prop rotation because their bench props are better than the person with the better starting props etc. And someone might have a better backrow when the props and hooker don't get counted. But like I said if we think it's just a waste of time then I'm happy to scrap it, the more awards the better though whatever they turn out to be.

We can get to the RLL2 thing later but if you are interested in it then let us know and we can work it out then

^ Those would be perfect, I'm cool if you all want more though. No issue at all.
 
Okay no worries

I welcome more input by everyone over the next week or 2 or however long left the draft has left and we'll get the voting process set up right away
