2012 Harold Matthews Thread

It was boys against men in Round 1.

But hold the phone! Parra have beaten Penrith!

We are a good chance next week having beaten them in the regular rounds.

Parra will be easier to beat psychologically because Penrith always have our number in finals it seems, but we had a very tight win over Parra - 16-12 I think.

Both teams have great form in the finals.

Our record fr the season is now 10-2 and we haven't lost since we lost an injury marred game in rund 3 or 4 against Wests.

Highlights of the win over Balmain are up on nswrl.com

Don't know how to get a link to it.

The try by Pangai was one of his best, and he set up a few as well.

The length of the field try by Sione Mata'utia shows he is over his injuries - and Travis Edwards was in a lot of things calling all the plays etc.

Harold Matthews Grand Final - Fulltime: Eels 39 def. Knights 32.

Really unlucky. Always next year. Go the Knights! :)

Bad luck boys. At least the put up a pretty decent score.

Also Afro Zac, you messaged me about knowing a kid in Harold Matts and I told and asked why. You aren't responding. You seem weird.

Sione Mata'utia scored 3 tries in the GF which means he scored 8 tries in our 4 finals games. 2 in the first, then 1, 2 and 3 in the next games.
6 Knights have been named for the possibles v probable games - Sione, Tevita both halves Travis Edwards and Jake MacNamara and also Amey and Maddern.

NSW won.
Pangai got players player after scoring a great try and setting up one.
Edwards also scored a quality try and set up a good one and was close to the best.
Sione didn't score and didn't get a mention in match reports.
