Well Tongue, Buttriss, Wadell arnt exactly going to move aside for him. No clubs are really in need of a hooker though, all of them have solid first graders, or young up and comers.

Cowboys --> Payne, Watts
Warriors --> Heriamia, Henderson
Rabbitohs --> Luke
Eels --> Keating (looks out of favour), Robson

Not too many options for him, probably the best is to stay put at the Roosters. Apparently Friend could be finding himself in a little more trouble (early reports is its a misunderstanding or something though). England is probably his only legit shot at a guarenteed start.

Id say Aubusson will be staying at the Roosters, IMO Friend wont last, was already on a short leash and still ****ed up, Roosters will see him as a liability there, just like they did with Mason, no club wants that ****.

Ive heard Michael Gordon is in good talks with Cronulla, he sed he wants to stay with Penrith, but they have removed an offer given to him earlier this season hoping to dangle a big carrot at Inglis, and Gordon, should feel pretty hard done by there, in all honesty, hes done alot more than Inglis has this year

Would be a great replacement for Covell, if he can't recover from his knee injury, or the clubs lets him go.
 
Warriors have good young talent aswell like Raiders, hope they can hold on to the likes of Shaun johnson and they will be a force in the coming years.
 
I'm not sure about this year but next year a good injury free season = top 8 for Warriors.

Rabbitohs Sign Craig Stapleton for Remainder of 2010 Season

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced the signing of former Sharks, Panthers, Eels, Dragons and Salford City prop forward Craig Stapleton for the remainder of the 2010 season today.


Stapleton, 31, has played 105 NRL games and 52 English Super League matches since debuting for the St George Dragons in 1998. He was selected in the 2006 Prime Minister’s XIII to play Papua New Guinea and the Australian Kangaroos train on squad after a stellar season for the Panthers. He won Salford City’s player of the year award in seasons 2008 and 2009.


“Craig will add depth to our forward stocks for the rest of 2010 and will help galvanise our forward pack with his tough style of play,” Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson said.


“He has a high work-rate and doesn’t shirk any of the hard work. He has shown he can play at the top level and we’re looking forward to having him assist our charge towards the finals this year.”


Stapleton will join the Rabbitohs this week and will play against the Brisbane Broncos this Sunday at 3pm at Suncorp Stadium.

they lose one bench prop for the season and have another signed in a matter of 3 days. We loose numerous key forwards dating back to December, and still havent signed anyone.....

Wicks, Housten, Karawana, Tuimivave, and the season scares to Taufua and Simpson.

Souths are in trouble this week. Pretty much their forward pack is gone.

And they've promoted like two or three backs to the bench lol.

I tell you what, this is embarrassing for us...we can't sign anyone in six whole months and Souths just happen to pick up a 110kg front-rower with a lazy 100 NRL games under his belt just like that...how bad are we travelling?:notgood:

Yeah mate...Asotasi,Lowe and Stuart are all not 100% either...Please help us GOD...Oh well i can only see stapleton as a good signing

You know alot about NRL dont you...Luke is suspended...Stuart, Asotasi and Lowe are all not 100%...Pettybourne is injkured for another 2 weeks....Crossman(Come on mate are you serious)....Not having a go at you mate just think you should know we are not going great....Again Ross and Geddes out for the year(J Lowe and Stapleton come in)....Not a silly move

Abit like you with your signings rumours? Seriously though, Goanna was saying it from a Knights point of view.

How Souths can sign 2 forwards so quickly and we struggle.

I suppose Souths are a better chance winning the comp than we are this season. But still.

Mate just relaying what i hear...Not always right but thought you guys would like to know...From a knights view i would be angry with the recuitement team at knights about not buying ayone up front(Whether it being from not being able to attract people i dont know)....Maybe you can put it down to throwing the kitchen sink at a very good player ie inglis or slater...For example...I know 100% where both of you are coming from...I feel sorry for knights in some respect but i honestly wish you guys could sign a good couple of players so you can be up there soon...
