Yeah, both hit their straps early... they weren't running through opposition teams with ease in their first half a dozen games though. Steve Simpson and Fitzgibbon were good from early on in their careers aswell.

Just got home... it was bloody cold and wet but definitely worth the drive. What a great win.

I'm struggling to think of any other Knights forward that has burst on to the scene and dominated like Manuleleua has- so early on in their NRL career?

Follow up from my post on 08/04. Didn't want him to be a starter because of an injury to another player, but I'm definitely glad he's getting a chance to showcase his ability and is making the most of his opportunity. He's a dead-set gun!

Given the adversity tonight, that's an awesome effort from the Knights. Previous years we lose that by 40. Pretty proud of the lads, we have ourselves a pretty good footy team.

Given the size and strength of their pack, I honestly thought the Shark's would've won the battle in the middle fairly easily tonight. Our young guys really stood up and weren't overwhelmed. Plenty to like about the effort. The future is looking good.

Our NSW Cup team is very young though and has good depth. We are really strong in the younger reps, so I don't think we need to stress too much about JF this year.
