Trent Hodkinson signs with Newcastle Knights on 3 year deal

You'd have to admit that if Snowden's front row partner was Scott, Klemmer or Woods he'd probably look better. Trouble is he's had to carry our other props for a couple of years.
 
I'd say Tamou has a better winning percentage over the last 12 months in games played than Snowden.
 
Matty Johns this morning names his top 5 players in the NRL to make an impact on the finals, named Hunt, Thurston, Cronk, GI and TVS when questioned about the dogs said they didn't have a quality play maker.

Good to see his hatred towards the Knights extends to players that haven't even arrived yet.
 
He's probably not a game breaker like any of those players (Josh Reynolds would be closer to that), but he's what we need in our side. I don't think it's a vendetta from Matthew Johns.
 
If everything goes according to plan next year, Hodkinson will be organising the side, which will free up Mullen to be more dangerous in attack etc.
The real hope is that Mullen will be our game breaker when he doesn't have to do all the donkey work as well.
 
Off the top of my head players who have played there since he retired Mullen, Dan Abraham, Walsh, Deureau, Chris Bailey, Marvin Karawana, Beau Henry, Hilder, Rodgers, Stig, Gower, George Ndaira, Dobson, Minto, Randall, Tuimavave and Roberts.

I think Con Mika might have lined up at 6 once too.

IIRC Chris Houston was named at 6 in the game against the Panthers where Gidley played the hybrid 1,6,9 game.
 
and we wonder why KNights always struggle! WOW!
Hopefully Hodko and Mullen can play most the season and i think we will be a real threat!
