Respectfully, I while he had a good game cant isn’t nrl standard. Marzhew too short for modern game. Croker also probably doesn’t make our team at full strength.

Best not worth a million to us should be $750k tops.
 
Roosters were well on top of us for most of the game, we just showed a lot of heart defensively. Middles absolutely dominated, would have been interesting if we had Mooney and Jsaf, our young forwards were running on the empty. Mark dominating Marzhew was expected unfortunately. Just sucks because there is no guarantee that we are back in the GF for a long time.
 
They really had no business being in this game at all. Incredible effort, missing their 2 starting props, as well as their 7 and 9 and to only lose by 1

Mixed emotions right now.
If that were my team (tonight they were and next year they're defo my 2nd team) if I were a Novocastrian right now, i'd be pretty proud of that effort.
I dunno if it is my eye patch (and a colossal chunk of loathing for Adam Gee) but it felt like one team was being reffed. Now is not the time for that though.
I think the players will look back and take a lot out of tonight once the pain subsides, they are a tight unit, stick together, don't let this year slide like other teams have, this is something to build on. Something special.

Don't have the words right now, still in game mode. Have a great holiday season with your families and see you all next year.
 
Taking comfort in the fact Holbrook didn't win a premiership with St Helens in his first year, and O'Sullivan thought we would win 2 out of 5 in the coming years not this year. We have done amazingly well with such a young and amazing squad. Manuleleua, Hopwood, Hagan, Winter, McEwen, Hunt, McCarthy, so many young players are going to be unreal coming through. Further than anyone expected, and next year likely even further. Our perseverance through injury and hardship has been unreal. We won't let anything stop us.

Well that’s just a horrid take on Croker and Marzhew, To’o is probably around the same size as him and will go down as one of if not the greatest winger in history. Not much you can do when marky mark is leaping for a ball especially when they are targeting it on almost every attacking kick.

Croker is one of our hardest workers and does a lot of the distributing in the middle that helps us get to our strike players on our edges. A great ball player for a middle and comes up with a huge effort play almost every game. Just unfortunate that he made a couple of errors tonight in carries.

Certainly if phoenix, Jsaf, mooney, brown were there could have been different.
