NSW Cup 2026

Votano should get a job as a juggler in a circus - he just doesn't miss a catch

Nonu having a great debut, but Stonestreet is too quick for him I think - Votano has to clean up for him when Stonestreet gets away.

Looking forward to seeing the stats
Nonu ran as many times as he could, even popping up on the left side to take runs, and he got a length of the field try.
Votano was faultless at the back and also ran a lot.
Both probably got close to 200 metres.
The young forwards all put their hands up to do plenty of work.
Deisal Hagan played long minutes at lock and only about the last 10 at hooker.
I'd say we completed about 90% of sets, and Jets wouldn't be much different.

I do like Hagan at 13

With Seve leaving, we could do a lot worse than offering Votano another year. He’s really improved this season.
Unless he's gonna become some breakout centre, we don't have a use for Votano. And as talented a footballer as he is he isnt nearly explosive or quick enough to be an effective centre in FG imo

Are we basing Votano leaving because we have Sharpe as cover f/b and Hunt as well.
Let’s leave Sharpe at 6 and let’s assume we loose Ponga long term injury, say 6-10 weeks who plays f/b, do we delay Sharpes development to 6, Votano is ideal replacement for Ponga and a plus is his goal kicking.

Stats are in for the game.
Votano made 200 run metres for the first time. He also had 24 runs, 13 tackle breaks, 2 try assists and 86 fantasy points in a career best effort.

Nonu had 18 runs for 242 metres with 1 line break and a try in his debut game.

Only 1 forward ran for over 100 meters, but the back 5 all made between 146 and 242 metres.

Matt Arthur topped the tackle count with 53

Deisal Hagan made 33 tackles with 0 missed and ran 83 metres at lock.

Hagan will dead set be the best 14 injection next year for NRL squad. His IQ in middle is going to create that attack we desperately need from the ruck.
will he be over Sandon and Graham as our line up of 14s … and Arthur also who’s still got another year!?
