2026 Season

Is was just typing that the Raiders need something to change the momentum and then Brandy said it. Something the Knights needed against the Tigers and the Roosters 2nd half last week but couldn't manufacture it or jag a bit of luck.

Dragons to sign Drinky on $900k for 3 years, which isn't a bargain but not a terrible deal, certainly a player who will improve them.

The problem is they have Gutho on $800k and Holmes on a $1m next year. So if the Knights are looking to pinch any young forwards, the Dragons might be a good place to bargain shop.
I’ve seen some very negative takes on this one elsewhere, I don’t get it. It’s about what Weekes and Bula are on and he’s better than them. He never gets injured.

His defensive rep follows him around but he’s only a disaster when he has to defend in the line. And he’s so dynamic with the ball.

Is it just me or does API throw the most forward passes from the ruck of any hooker?
Something I care very little about…

UNTIL they play the Knights (or I’ve tipped the team on the receiving end…*). Then I have my protractor out every pass.

Like last week, idk if it was the camera angle or what, but DCE and Robson were flaunting the line an awful lot.

*tipped Tigers so was blind to any forward pass by them haha.

Tigers are fun to watch. Very happy for their fans who’ve suffered more than enough.

Hats off to Benji he’s doing a fantastic job, especially considering he’s never even coached before. Turns out you don’t need half a decade to turn a team around

They are playing consistent every week....very frustrating as a Knights fans seeing we are unable to produce the same

You could argue a lot of the groundwork for this started years ago given some of their best players made their debuts there. Hopefully this crop doesn’t all get poached by Parra and Easts this time.

To his credit, Ennis speaks well and appropriately here about his Dragons axing, but it will be interesting to see if he puts them on his commentary sh!tlist with the Knights.

You could but they still collected the spoon only 2 years ago and there’s still a huge difference in them just between this year and last.

I think this time will be different because this time around players want to play for Benji so they should be less inclined to leave.

Also there’s a lot less noise from the board etc these days. They seemed to have gotten their house in order a bit more

Wests took over the Knights in 2017, they’ve been laying the ground work for a decade and the Knights have never sat 2nd a third of the way into the comp.

Not sure what the hell Manly were doing letting all the Fainu’s go when they have no forwards
