NRL Round 5 - Knights Vs Raiders - 4:05pm Sunday, 5th April - McDonald Jones Stadium

Hudson Young always has a crazy about him but ithe chip on the shoulder comes out playing against Knights I recon. He will be out for heads especially coming off some losses
He got done for failing drug test. Why would he be mad at the knights. We didn’t cut him on purpose, he literally wasn’t able to play.

Having Mooney back is massive. I love his offload and the team looking to play off that spreading in wide instantly.

I’m a bit worried about Sandon’s defence. It’s pretty easy to see he jumping out of the line. Matty and Cronk pointing it out. The second rowers will be targeting him. Hudson young on his side?
I believe he would have been told to stop running out of the line after he was found out multiple times last week.
Surely he won’t repeat that performance again, but Ricky will be sending troops his way hoping the message didn’t get through.

I feel like we witnessed a corner being turned today. On many fronts. Squad depth….resilience…..resolve……responsiveness (lots of other cool words beginning with R….).

Did anyone else see an updated team sheet without Mooney in the squad yesterday? Maybe it was an error but I wasn’t sure!

I just hope we get a good run with the ref. I have seen some diabolical lopsided refereeing this year It's as if they make their mind up before the game starts or they have a preconceived idea about teams before they step on the field.
Yea it seems quite noticeable this year, even as neutral fan in non-Knights games.
Kennedy has been the most obvious and he has been dropped, so hopefully the Nrl are trying to stop it.

At the end of the day the odds just reflect what the punters are putting their money on. A lot of people will just be thinking Canberra won the minor premiership last year and are due a win, we were the wooden spooners and are still missing our two most highly paid players. Don't think it's any more deep than that.

I'd say we're good value though!
It’s to avoid too much liability one way or another to start off with but odds adjustment after that is based off money placed to avoid continued liability as mentioned. And of course ins and outs then etc. Raiders first, knights last, last year. Some will still think Raiders can turn it around and there will be reputation picks.
If knights were favoured being the home team and 2026 form everyone would be on the raiders purely for odds purposes. Which is fair as knights like many teams thi year aren’t totally proven. But you could say the same for every team bar Penrith so far.

I don’t doubt this will be a tough game. But I don’t think there new halves combination is working that well. Ethan Stange has not been playing on his usual side. Sandons has shown moments of good but he’s not as good as Fogarty.
Yeah I do wonder if the Fogarty loss is underrated
They haven’t had an easy draw but neither have had a very tough one either
Being minor premiers none of the games so far weren’t winnable ones
