I will say I haven’t been this happy after a game since probably the run in 2023. Been a tough watch the last few years. It’s nice to see the shackles come off our attacking players. Plenty of offloads and ball movement. Hopefully still plenty of improvement in the lads but very happy with a first round win

Hope you're right Billy, but I didn't think anyone had touched him when he showed pain in his face. Cork would be the best result.

He had plenty of structure in the knee from what I could see.

Yeah if they're saying his knee is stable you can pretty much rule out an ACL. Did a test on field before he played on and then another in the sheds so unlikely they missed anything. NRL Physio reckons PCL which would mean weeks rather than months.

Holbrook just said again in the presser they don't think it's serious.

I thought Croker was outstanding, played about 60 mins straight up. Good whole hearted player, and his distribution in the middle was great.
Goal line defence was generally good. Our line speed in general the biggest worry, cowboys seem to make a lot of a metres with little effort.
