Knights land Peter O'Sullivan

Tom Maas to the left of Ty Ennis played 9 for Western Rams in AJ Cup last year, so should be Mats aged this year. Dubbo Cyms junior - same club as Mat Burton.

Might be nothing, but Matty Johns may have let out of the bag that POS is off to the Chiefs on his radio show last week. Its about 1:21 on the podcast if you're interested.
Would be disappointed personally, I think he's done a good job at righting the ship but think another year or two is necessary to see through the vision.

Probably right, nobody seems to stay long here. Good thing they’ve got Alex McKinnon coming back to work in pathways 🙄

Yeah forgot that Alex is back in pathways. Unfortunate, would have rather see POS stay on until at least the Knights are a top 8 side again.

I was of the understanding that POS had a 5 year contract with the Knights.
Oh, sorry, I forgot, the Knights let people out of their contracts for any number of reasons!
Oh well, good while it lasted.
Back to the drawing board!

Yeah that’s what I don’t get. From my understanding they made him essentially the highest paid recruitment guy in the comp with a 5 year contract. So how the hell did they manage to stuff that up so quickly that someone would walk away from such a big contract

Tamika Upton,
Same story

Has Matty ever gotten a scoop right? Guys a great media personality and footy brain but he’s been as bad as the Sydney media when it comes to such scoops

I haven't heard the podcast, but I would have expected 10 articles or rumour posts by now if Matty had reported this last week. I would not panic yet.
Probably worth noting that matty wasnt saying it was a scoop, more him slipping up mentioning it and then laughing it off as “well it’d probably happen eventually”. Like I said, might be nothing but I’m sure Matty knows more than most.

POS seems to flit from team to team, disrupts the hell out of their recruiting, in a good way, and moves on before the "magic" becomes a bit routine.
In short - his job here is done - we have enough talent to work with for the next 5 years, and a new outlook on recruitment.

I don't really understand what role they plan to have, but this is an article about the NRL setting up offices at Hunter Sports centre in Glendale to help develop the game in the Hunter.
Says the Hunter is the biggest development area for League and is growing rapidly.
We really should have another Flegg, TG, Mathews etc side based in the Hunter, and Glendale would be a good spot for that - pretty much the centre of the region because all the roads and rail from everywhere converge at Glendale.
