Pure speculation going by the kinds of teams he picked at the Titans, obviously it's different personnel here, but expect a few pretty conservative selections which may annoy some fans. But you're always judged on results first and foremost.
I agree mostly with that team, just 2 changes for me though.

I’d swap Frizell and McEwen around so we have more experience on the bench.

I’d also have another middle forward like Croker or Hopwood instead of Gamble. To me that makes it a more balanced side

Don't agree or disagree, he just always seemed happy to do stuff like play both a hooker and utility. The Frizell conjecture is that he'll start Friz on the edge and move him to the middle with McEwen coming on and playing out the game, for example. This is me just guessing based on how he seemed to prefer to set up rather than saying it's what I'd do.

I’m sure he will unearth the best of Dylan Brown being a former play maker and Joeys understudy and all.
Unironically I think it's a great coach/player match. David Fifita absolutely went off a cliff when they fired Holbrook, and anyone saying Fifita didn't absolutely bust his arse under Holbrook will be very surprised if they look at Fifita's stats with Holbrook there. Alofiana Khan-Pereira another whose form has torpedoed. He seems to go well with these guys where their thing is that they're a bit mercurial/have had their commitment questioned, rather than lacking in ability.

Apparently if the NRL Tonight info is correct, McDermott is heading to the Titans to assist Hannay, and Cheika may come in as new Roosters assistant. Who are our assistants then?

The good and bad of the appointment is that Holbrook now has an entire off-season to stamp his authority and his play style on the squad, which could mean player movements in the summer.

It also means that we have to wait until probably the Round 5-6 mark to see what that looks like - let's be honest, most teams don't hit their straps until a few weeks of gameplay.

Vegas could be a fantastic opportunity for the Knights to make a statement on the new direction of the club, but it could also be a false dawn, or worse, a disappointment altogether.

As a fan it has me anxious and eager at the same time, I guess we can't regress from here at least?

May god have mercy upon his soul..
