NRL Round 26 - Sharks Vs Knights - 2:00pm Sunday 31st August - Sharks Stadium

Not at all hopeful for this one haven’t been hopeful in a while.
As far as I can make out our injury list is huge for this round.
Ponga, Marzhew?, Gamble, Sharpe, Hetherington, Sullivan?, Jones, Lucas and Elliott.
That’s half of our top 17

If he has been guaranteed next year or been told he going just play some kids and make changes and drop players like Cogger and Brailey who won’t be here anyway and see how the side goes

To put out the same 17 that’s played last 3 weeks and looked uninterested at times is pathetic

Shake a few of em up by playing young guys and seeing what they can do for week or two

The fact that there’s no cover for the likes of Cogger in the side means he was given a free pass to stink it up all year no matter how bad

Would have had minimum Crouch, Manuleluea and maybe Teague as 9/13 back up and see how they go

Can’t do much worse than what the 17 picked have dished out

If AOB is being punted, he likely just submitted the same team sheet. A new coach will come in next year with new ideas. Seasons gone. He likely just wants to move on.

Just how I see it and understandably how he likely feels.
 
Let’s be fair, 8 regular first grade regulars injured, meaning we have 22 players from our top squad of 30 which includes future players not yet established.
Makes it difficult if not impossible to name a fresh new squad for this round, some on here need to understand selection limitations.
Yes I hate our selection of the same old non achievable squad but who would you bring into our selected squad that hasn’t been named in the selected squad, NO ONE!!!😩

We are allowed to name players outside the top 36 such as Crouch.
They just get match payments

Ok but the further down the track the less experienced and therefor not as good, Crouch might be great in 26/27 seasons but not now.
We are limited by injuries and lack of experience

Yeah I struggle to see anyone coming in and having an impact. The next level down like Votano just aren’t ready yet.

I thought you were making the point that we couldn't name anyone else.
 
Anywhere that I can get some photos with the players my girls would love to get some (10-12) not going to lie I would as well would Atleast be some highlight.
 
Any indication re positions for today.
Hopefully for the sake of repeating myself they at least move Brailey to 9, Crossland 13 and Frizell to bench from start, understand this is likely to happen during game even if for limited minutes.
Not happy Schiller at centre, wing yes
 
Marzhew in on the wing, Hunt moves to centre, Schiller 18th man
Crossland moves to five-eighth, Brailey starts at hooker, Jake Arthur moves to bench
